Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent HPS floodlight for the money Purchased 2 of these fixtures to light my front and back yard. Mounted them at approximately 15' and covers a large area. They're good fixtures except the fitter thread casting is a little weak, ended up stripping one of them but made it work in the end. Good HPS fixture, hard to beat the high lumen output of a HPS lamp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap and bright I purchased these for bowfishing. They are very bright. The cases are plain but meet the need. Easy to wire and the adjustable leg seems to work well. They don't get as hot as I thought they would.

Was wondering if the 150 watt bronze hps were gonna come back in stock and if not do y'all have a different option for them?

    Asked by: Billy84
All of our HID fixtures are discontinued and we aren't carrying them anymore. The LED option for these fixtures are the E-HL7 series. http://www.e-conolight.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=e-hl7

Do the 150w hps lights have caps in them? What are the start up and running amp draws? Want to hook 6 up to a 3200w generator with 3 on each 20amp breaker for bowfishing. Will these work?

    Asked by: Smalz
The starting and running amperage depends on the input voltage. This fixture, at 120V is will require the most, starting amps at 2.4 and running is 1.55. On a 20 amp breaker you typically do not want to exceed 80% of the load, or 16 amps for your 20 amp circuit. You should be fine with 3 per circuit. Please see attached ballast line current data below. http://www.e-conolight.com/media/resource_center/guides/files/BALLAST_DATA.pdf If you have any other questions, please contact Customer Service at 888.243.9445

What is the dofference between these and the $49 ones?

    Asked by: Tristan
The fixtures are part of two different series (E-HC1 Series & E-HC2 Series). The main difference between the two products in question is the size. This products' dimensions are: 6-1/4" x 9-1/8" x 6-1/8". Whereas, the other product in question has the following dimensions: 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" x 7-1/8".

Do these lights come with capacitors and/or are the HPF rated?

    Asked by: Quinn
This fixture does not come with a capacitor. It has a 120V NPF (normal power factor) only ballast. Normal power fixtures would not include a capacitor.
