please explain how led strips connect to the various jumpers - website has female to female, male to male, male to female, etc. which do I need for 4 and 5' jumps?

    - Jumper Cables connect two LED Cable Strips together with a small flexible cable. They're available in 4", 6", 12" and 24" lengths. - Female-to-Male Extensions allow for longer extension from the power supply to the first run of LED Cable. They're available in 5' and 15' lengths. - Male-to-Male Extensions allow for longer extension in-between runs of LED Cable. They're available in 5' and 15' lengths. I bought an LED/CFL/Incandescent Lutron dimmer and wired it to a 120V outlet inside my kitchen cabinets.  Will your product work with this dimmer? Also, Is there an equivalent product anywhere that I could see the actual light color and lumens.

    Asked by: RDennis
Our LED Flexible Cable Strip lighting is sold as a system. We do not recommend using it with other manufacturers' parts or systems - doing so may lead to fixture malfunction or failure, and may void the 3-year limited warranty. We recommend you purchase the kit w/ dimmer (http://www.e-conolight.com/e-clk30dw.html). Separate dimmers are also available (http://www.e-conolight.com/e-cl-idsmw.html). Application photos can be found on page 56 of our current catalog (http://www.e-conolight.com/pdf/catalog.pdf).

Want to use as undercabinet lighting but I need jumper longer than what is specified and want to use wall dimmer. Is this possible

    Asked by: 9449
The longest jumper cable available is 24 inches. E-conolight currently has 5 and 15 foot extension cords that would work in this application. Are these waterproof? What would I need to do if I need over 100 linear feet, can they connect all-together? Can it be powered by a regular outlet?

    Asked by: NikLo
Yes all of the LED cable strip products are wet-listed not submersible. The longest length of cable that can be run from one drive is 82 feet. This would require the 96W driver. These drivers run of a standard 120V outlet.

do you have to use the entire length of the led strip?

    Asked by: 1kenai34
No, you don't have to use the entire length of the strip but you do have to cut it on the specified markings, which is about every seven inches.
