The spec sheet for this light says that it will work on 120 volt through 277 volts. I wanted to wire it to 240 volt single phase, but it only has 3 wires -ground, hot and neutral. Can this light be hooked up to 240 volt single phase? If so how?

Yes, kelvin temp of 35k is no issue as long as it is the following base and wattage Heavy duty four-pin GX24q-5 socket accepts 57-watt lamp (~CF57T4/41) or 70-watt lamp (by others)
