Q Where can I find product specification sheets?

Q Are product installation guides available?
A Installation guides are included with each fixture. They are also available on individual product pages under the “Specs & Guides” tab.
Q Are photocells available on all products?
A Internal photocells are available only for those fixtures with one listed. For all other fixtures where a photocell is desired, a remote-mounted photocell (sold by others) may be installed.
Q Can I use a different lamp in my high-intensity discharge (HID) fixture?
A No, the components used in an HID fixture are power consumption-specific. A metal halide (MH) lamp can only be used in a fixture with a MH ballast. Our fixtures use industry-standard lamps that can be purchased from most local retailers.
Q How does metal halide (MH) compare to high pressure sodium (HPS)?
A High pressure sodium (HPS) lamps provide a soft yellow/orange light with a longer lamp life, while metal halide (MH) lamps offer a white light with a higher CRI.
Q Do you offer other products not shown on your website?

Q How are your products priced?
A All product prices, including promotional offers, are subject to change. They exclude shipping, handling and state sales tax.

A Yes, an online Lighting Layout Tool is available here.
Q What do “typical mounting height” and “typical spacing” refer to?
A Typical mounting height is the range (in feet above grade) that a fixture should be mounted. Typical spacing is the measurement used (in multiples of mounting height) that two or more fixtures should be mounted apart from each other. Both measurements should be used to achieve optimum light distribution.

Q How do I place an order?
A Products can be purchased from our website or by calling customer service at 888-243-9445, Monday through Friday, 6 am to 7 pm (CT).
Q What payment methods are accepted?
A We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card for all prepaid orders. ACH debits are also accepted. To use ACH, you must first contact customer service at 888-243-9445 and submit the appropriate authorization form.
Q Can lamps for e-conolight products be purchased locally?
A Yes, the high-intensity discharge (HID), fluorescent and quartz halogen lamps used in our fixtures are standard lamps that can be purchased from local retailers and lighting suppliers. Please note, this does not apply to LED fixtures.
Q Do you offer volume discounts?
A Volume discounts are not available. However, tiered pricing is available on most Linear Fluorescent fixtures.
Q Can I set up an account and be invoiced for my order?
A Yes, you can apply for invoice terms here.
Q Do you charge sales tax?
A State sales taxes are levied on all orders. Tax-exempt orders will be accepted, but not processed, until a valid Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate is received. Certificates can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent via mail or fax to:

Q Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
A Yes, please call 888-243-9445 for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii.
Q Do you offer expedited services?
A Expedited services are available. Please call 888-243-9445 to place your order. Additional freight charges will apply.
Q How much does shipping cost?
A All orders less than $500 - 5% shipping and handling fee. Minimum fee of $5.00. All orders that exceed $500 - free shipping. Please note: in order to qualify for free shipping, orders must ship to one location, using the carrier of our choice.
Q Is shipping included in my pole and/or bullhorn order?
A Yes, shipping is included. However, expedited services are not available. Additionally, Ruud Lighting Poles do not qualify for free shipping.
Q How can I find out if my order shipped?
A When your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address on file. Order status is also available by calling 888-243-9445.
Q When can I expect my order?
A Orders received before noon (CT), during normal business hours, on in-stock items, are shipped from Wisconsin same-day. Most orders ship via parcel carrier within 3-7 business days, depending on shipping location. Please note: orders over 300 lbs. are shipped via common carrier & must be unloaded by the customer. All shipments are F.O.B. origin; product ownership passes to you when it leaves our factory.
Q What if I have to make a return?
A New products with their packaging intact may be returned within 90 days of the original purchase date. Prior authorization is required and can be obtained by contacting our Technical Support team at 888-243-9445. Custom poles, bullhorns and linear fluorescents cannot be returned.
Q Do I have to use a specific carrier to return products?
A No - however, please use a carrier that has tracking capabilities. The customer assumes responsibility for the return shipment and/or filing a claim for lost or damaged items.
Q Will I be refunded the full purchase price?
A No, a minimum 20% restocking fee will be assessed for all returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Final credits will be determined after the returned product is inspected.
