Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flagpole Lighting Just purchased and installed 3 of these to replace old 250w HID fixtures. Took about an hour and half. Used the narrow beam cool white fixture. Flag Poles are (2) 30' and center one at 50' high. They look great and illuminate the flags perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good light at a great price! As a electrical contractor. I purchased 75 of these light fixtures(65 wide & 10 narrow floods) for a apartment complex. So far all are working well, they were packaged very well, delivered on time with no signs of mishandeling during shipping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright light Very bright light for my 22 foot flag pole. I built a box to go around the fixture to direct the light a little better as it was lighting a lot of the front of my house. Very easy installation for anyone with medium handyman skills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally meets my expectations. Put a light on a pole 20' off and 15' up to illuminate our cinder block BBQ for events. This light (spot version)cdoes a great job of lighting things up - what I would have expected from a halogen (at a fraction of the watts).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Light! I've used this light to replace both HPS and halogen floodlights and the results have been amazing! It throws more light than the 500 watt halogen and many times more than a 150 watt HPS bulb. Turns any area into day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeds expectations I replaced the 175W MH light that I have pointed to my 33' flagpole. Not only am I using less power but the focused beam lights the flag much better. This is a great upgrade!

What is the difference between cool white and neutral white on your LED EHL 7 series?

Asked by: Barbie1
The cool white and neutral white are referring to the correlated color temperature (CCT) of the LED array. The cool white is a 5000K (kelvin), and appears to have a bluer hue to the tone of the light. Whereas the neutral white is a 4000K (kelvin) and appears to be a stark white, similar to the color most pulse start metal halide lamps protrude. Here is a copy of the spec sheet for convenience: http://www.e-conolight.com/pdf/SpecSheets/eco_spc_hl7_series.pdf. On the second page there is a diagram comparing the difference between the kelvin ratings. For additional questions, please call our customer service department at 1-888-243-9445.

Im looking for something around 1000w for my pier for fishing what would recommmend .

Asked by: Benny Baugh
We currently don't have a 1000w equivalent fixture. The closest we have is our E-HL9 series, which is a 400w PSMH equivalent. You can find those fixtures here: http://www.e-conolight.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=e-hl9

Looking for a dusk to dawn spot light for my flag. Flag is 18 feet in the air and light will be mounted on ground. I have AC voltage to supply. What would be a good light for this application?

Asked by: Knepptune
We have two fixtures that may fit your application needs. Our E-GL4F Series is recommended for 15' flagpoles, while the E-HL7S Series is for 20' flagpoles. Please note that the fixtures are not dusk to dawn operable. To view the fixtures that would fit your specific needs, please see our Lighting the American Flag infographic: http://www.e-conolight.com/resource_center/guide/lighting-the-american-flag-45

Is there a way to attach this lamp to a high quality motion detector so that it could be motion activated?

Asked by: Jbk_dok
Our fixtures have not been tested with motion sensors. We would not recommend using them and doing so would void our 5 year warranty.
