i am going to mount this light on top of a 4x4 post, what mount would i use to have a little adjustment. also, my lighting area would be 40' out by 40-50' wide, would this light cover that at 20' high?

    Asked by: mark gordon
To have the most adjustment, you would need the 2" adjustable slip-fitter, E-ACS, to mount on top of a standard 2 3/8" tenon. We do offer an adapter mount to a 4 x 4 pole, E-ACPB1A4Z, although we do not recommend using this with a pole that is not an e-conolight pole. The U-bracket mount E-ACUSB, would also provide a little adjustment but not as much as the slip-fitter would. The E-ACESB is a direct mount and would not offer any adjustment. All of our mounting options are listed under the accessories tab on the product details page. To determine the light spread for your application space, please see our Outdoor Lighting Layout Tool, and use our Outdoor Calculator: http://www.e-conolight.com/resource_center/resources/lighting-layout-tool. If further assistance is needed, please contact customer service at 888-243-9445 to speak with one of our application engineers

When mounting to an existing square pole, will i need to replace the attached mounting bracket with... both adapters?

    Asked by: Virgil
No, you would not need both, you would just need one of either the E-ACESB or E-ACUSB.

Followup to previous question, If E-sba 7L/10C2 are purchased that will  be mounted to an existing square pole, will we need to purchase the E-ACESB and the E-ACUSB for a proper installation. Thanks

    Asked by: Virgil
If mounting to the side of the pole, yes, you would use either the E-ACESB or the E-ACUSB for proper mounting.

which is a brighter fixture this one or the e-hl8f15n2z? Which one would be better suited to be mounted on a pole roughly 25 ft up?

    Asked by: Jared
The E-SBA7L110CZ has 16,900 delivered lumens. The E-HL8F15N2Z has 12,300 delivered lumens. The typical recommended mounting height for either fixture would be between 15 to 25 feet. What is the difference between Type V distribution and NEMA 7 distribution?

    Asked by: TDOG
NEMA 7 is very wide beam spread distribution used in Flood Lighting. Here the flood can be tilted back some to throw the light forward whereas the type V is usually not tilted and provides a symmetric pattern below the pole. The Type V is a symmetric beam spread distribution used in Street and Parking lot lighting.
