With a mounting height of 8 feet, what is the recommended spacing between fixtures

    Asked by: Emerg
This fixture is generally used for emergency purposes only, and is not recommended for security lighting. The spacing requirements would depend specifically on your local fire code's requirements. Please check with your local fire department to determine the required spacing.

Are these lights made to be on 24-7? Then when the power goes out they stay on? Because that is the application I am looking for.

Is this only an emergency light or could it be also used as an area light with battery backup?

    Asked by: PKBU
This light is intended to function solely as an emergency light with 90 minutes of back up battery. We would not consider this fixture an area light. This fixture would not be comparable to the light spread an area light is intended to give.

What is the difference between this fixture and the one that looks exactly like it for $69.99?

    Asked by: diego782
Both of the fixtures are the only LED wet-listed emergency lights we offer. However, our E-XML5CWZ & E-XML5CWW ($84.99) are meant for cold locations. The operating minimum temperature for these fixtures is -30°C(-22°F). The other fixtures ($69.99) operate at a minimum temperature of 0°C(32°F).
