    When I wired it up with red to load, whites tied together and blacks tied together to power, the lights alternate between on and off. Any suggestion.

    How is this 208/240/277V button photocell wired for a 240v Metal Halide 250W parking lot light, which only has the two hot legs (each 120 v) going to the ballast?

    what wires do we cut to DEACTIVATE the photo cell

    The photocell wire can be taken out of the circuit and capped off. Do not cut the wires - capping off is necessary. If needed, consult a local electrician.
