Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Upgrade Purchased one of these and have had it in service for almost 6 months. We could not be any more pleased. I replaced a 70 watt high pressure sodium in our back yard and the light output is a bit deceiving at first though. Once we got used to the difference in LED vs. High Pressure Sodium, we find that our back yard is much brighter with better coverage. I am an electrician but installation would be a breeze for most anyone. This fixture is very well constructed and should last for years! This is an excellent choice to upgrade any existing dusk to dawn application. Don't take my word for it. get one and see for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barn wiring we recently did wiring for a dairy free stall barn. The barn was 170 by 125feet. 25` high ceilings. we deceided to use these dusk to dawn light for the lighting. The farmer was overly impressed with how much light output they gave off. you can put roughly 40 of these lights on a circuit. we used 18 for this barn project. did not use the arms, just mounted the fixture to the trusses. also we removed the photocells and used shorting caps to eliminate any future problems with photo cell. They were an excellent choice for this job. They were much cheaper than the high bay fluorescents that are currently being used for barn wiring

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mega Bright sturdy construction Installed the light today. Was worried that the street light approximately 50' away would keep the sensor from activating, but it turned on just fine when it got dark. The light is a bright white light compared to the amber looking street light. Attached are pictures. The light is 14' above the ground. At 14' the light extends out at least 50'. I highly recommend this light. I am extremely happy with the construction. I will be purchasing another one for the back of the building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprising output and excellent construction After questioning the salesperson on the phone extensively about this product, I decided the cost was "low enough" that is was worth checking out. I was rather skeptical that it would put out the advertised lumens ( as opposed to other products claiming less using more wattage ), but at this price point, even if it didn't approach 3500 lumens and worked well, it would be worth it. Much to my complete surprise it actually is far brighter than I expected, and the photocell works exactly as I would prefer it to. ( Doesn't come on too soon, and goes off at very first light ) I have always purchased new lighting products as soon as the technology becomes available, and it's obvious today that the field of LED lighting is beginning to mature to the point that the products are "worth it". (Very early LED products were frankly not good, dimmed prematurely, and failed quickly ) I really am impressed with this product, and really wouldn't change anything. It probably really is 3500 plus lumens, and is really 5000k. I prefer extremely white light, and this light delivers. I measured the wattage draw of this light at 39 watts, and it goes without saying that the light output for such a small amount of power used is amazing. ( Vastly superior to the 65 watt CFL I'm using farther back in the yard, which can be seen in one of my photos. ) The only remaining question at this point is longevity, and how much the light will dim over time. If this light lasts at least 5 years, it is an incomparable product, and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twenty first century barn light! Replaced a couple tired mercury vapor lights with these. Hardest thing was climbing the ladder. Most impressed with light output and spread. Hope to replace all the mercury and HPS pole lights I've sold over the last 30 years with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light Bought this a couple of weeks ago, had to catch it in stock. Was very easy to mount and wire up. Mounted it about 18 Ft high from the ground and lit the area up very bright. The area around a well used door at church was very dim and unsafe. Mounted the light and now the area is very bright and safe now. Would by this product again if I need to. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Better than expected. Wanted to mount in the back yard and chose this over the typical sodium vapor lamps. Works great, puts out more light than I expected. I would definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighter than expected I was very happy with the light output from this product and will be buying more to replace the high energy using HPS and MV bulbs we currently use. I bought two units to try them out as I was very unsure of how good they would be at only 110 bucks. Now I know they are a good product and will be buying more.
