LED Dusk-to-Dawn Lighting Lives Up to Hype
E-conolight customer Bob Watts enjoys keeping up on the latest technologies, especially when it comes to the LED dusk-to-dawn lighting offered by e-conolight, but he admits he was skeptical.
He was in the market for a night light with a photocell for the back corner of his house when he learned about the LED light.
“I was rather skeptical that it would put out the advertised lumens,” he said. “But, after the first couple of seconds of use, it was obvious this is a superior product.”
The LED dusk-to-dawn offered by e-conolight features 3,550 delivered lumens at only 36W over 70,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free use. It is constructed of die-cast aluminum with a polyester powder coat grey finish to provide extra protection against corrosion.
Watts said he noticed those details as soon as he opened the box.
“Upon opening and examining the light, it was obvious at first glance this was a quality, well-made item,” he added. “Even the mounting bracket and hardware were impressive.”
A twist-lock photocell is included, and Watts noted that was a primary selling feature of the fixture.
“The photocell works exactly as I would prefer it to,” he continued. “(The light) doesn’t come on too soon, and it goes off at very first light.”
The LED dusk-to-dawn offered by e-conolight retails for $109.90.
