Frequently Asked LED Strip Light Questions

How long do LED strip lights last?

Our UL-listed LED strip lights last over 100,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.

Do LED strip light fixtures use a lot of electricity?

They do not. At least, not compared to traditional incandescent lights. The longer and denser the strip light, the more electricity it will use. As a general rule, a typical 5-meter strip light will cost your client less than $3 per year.

How do you install strip light fixtures in a garage?

Switch off your garage’s breaker. Remove the old fixtures. Use a screwdriver and hammer to knock out holes. Plumb the wiring through and lift the light into place. Attach wires accordingly: black to black, white to white, green to green. If screws are present, attach one screw to one side of the strip and align the light so that it’s parallel to the garage’s layout. Screw in the remaining screw(s). Flip the breaker back on.
